Doctor Ha Nguyen graduated at the Ecole Polytechnique in France with a BS degree and at the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign with a PhD degree, both in Computer Science and Engineering. Afterward, he worked for SONY Electronics in Silicon Valley, San Jose, California, USA. He possessed 7 patents authorised by the US, won the Gold Medal in the 37th International Math Olympiad in India in 1996, and was a recipient of the fellowship from the Vietnam Education Foundation for this graduate study in the US. He has founded and managed several technology companies in IoT and AI. He currently serves as the President of the VEF Alumni Association.
